About the Study:
To evaluate the influence of novel ultrasonic tips as an auxiliary method for the rotary preparation of flattened/oval-shaped canals. The different instrumentation protocols used in this study produced significant gains in canal volume and surface area, resulting in considerable reduction of non-instrumented areas

“The group ProDesign Logic 5/.05 + Flatsonic + Clearsonic + Prodesign Logic 40/.01, showed the greatest percentage increase in total portion of the root canal volume (171%) and the lowest percentage of non-instrumented surface area (18%) (p < 0.05).”
